What two young people have said:

"I was a rebel at school - getting suspended because of what was happening at home. Since I came into care I have matured, I am now at College and take a pride in my work."

Who are we?

We are a team of teachers who want to work with you and help you get the best out of your time at school.

Your social worker, foster carer or teacher can help you get in touch with us, or you can use the contact details below.

We can help, for example if you

- are worried about moving up to your new secondary school.

- have to start a new school because your foster carers change.

- find words or numbers difficult and are embarrassed to say at school.

- want some extra help with a particular subject. One of our teachers can give you that help either in class, or on your own at another time.

- are coming up to GCSEs. We can help you plan your revision.

We know what being in care is like, so you don't have to explain it to us.

We have the time to listen to how you would like to be supported.

We are good at listening and we will try lots of different ways to help you get the most out of your time at school.
