The 2008 Outstanding Award ceremony will take place on Thursday 23 October. These awards are to celebrate young people in care who have excelled in a certain area like; learning to ride a bike, swimming a hundred metres, getting an "A" at school, attending school for a whole term. Whatever is an accomplishment for them then simply email Caz with the young person's name, the reason and their address or their social worker so Caz canfind them to invite them. Equally we encourage young people to nominate staff that they feel have gone the extra mile for them, they can be teachers, foster carers, social workers, 16 plus advisors etc. The closing date is 20 September - so don't delay - get your nominations in today! Just Us Summer Fun day happened on a sunny Thursday in Hemingford ... well... it only rained a couple of times. We had three different bouncy castles, dj and dj training for anyone who wanted a go, body popping dancing lessons, a demo of how to do beat box from an expert, free food, ice cream, face painting, a graffitti wall, karaoke and more. This was the funday dance class
