--ooOO(0)OOoo--
As young people looked after by Cambridgeshire County Council we want to make sure that you receive the best experience as possible and that you feel loved and cared for at all times whilst in our care.
We promise you the following
We will always do what we say we will do and get back to you within one week.
-
We will work hard with you to make sure that we only bring you into care if that’s right for you. If you do come into care we will make sure that you see your family and friends regularly if it’s in your best interests.
-
We will work with you to make sure we find the right carers and home for you so that you do not have to move home more than necessary.
-
We will make sure that you always see a book about your carers before you go and that you meet them before you move as well except in a real emergency.
-
We will make sure you are always listened to and involved in every aspect of your care and future plans.
-
We will always be there for you until you are 21 years old. We will support you in getting a job, further education or going to university.
-
We will make sure that we support you in finding suitable accommodation when you leave care.
-
We will make sure that if you live in a residential home that you are given the same equal opportunities to the ‘Staying Put’ scheme as young people in foster care.
