Your review is to talk about things that are happening to you and to make plans for your future.

If you are a young person in care in Cambridgeshire, this is ...

... what you should know about Reviews:

Every young person in care has to have a review - it's the law!

You have to have a review within the first month of moving somewhere, then three months later, then after that every six months unless things change.

The review meeting is for making sure everyone is doing what they should be to support you to do well.

Reviews should look at all the good stuff that's going on for you and think about ways to help with the tricky stuff.

It's good to complete the consultation forms - online for 12 to 19 year olds - or the ones that come to you in the post because then you can have your say - remember it's your meeting.

You should get to choose with your social worker, where you meet, when, and who comes. You may just want someone there for a bit and others there for the whole meeting, it's up to you.

A new piece of law says that you should have the same review manager all the time and that you need to know they are independent of your social worker.
