LSCB need a Someone who is interested in Computers. The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Local Safeguarding Children Board are working on an e-safety strategy which aims to:

  • help children and young peope to be safe from abuse on line
  • be safe when using other forms of ICT (Information & Communications Technology)
  • raise public awareness (particularly with parents & carers)
  • develop the skills of professionals in recognising and dealing with e-safety incidents

If you know about things like this and, more importantly, how to deliver messages to people your age, about how to report abuse, stay safe, etc Josie wants to hear from you. Over the next year or two, Josie needs two or three young people from Cambridgeshire to work regularly with the E safety officer, and with a CEOP worker to make the best strategy we can.
