R U looked after by Cambridgeshire?

R U happy with your Care Plan?

R people listening to you?

If the answer is "no" to any of these an advocate could help!

So what is an advocate?

  • Someone independent who is here just for you

  • Someone who will listen to you

  • Someone who will make sure others will listen to you

  • They tell you what your rights are

John's Story

John had been waiting 18 months to be able to see his files. He got an ADVOCATE. He saw his file 2 weeks later.

Mary's Story

Mary was living away from Cambridgeshire. She wanted to return but no-one was listening. Mary kept running away from her placement to come back to Cambridgeshire. She got an ADVOCATE.

  • Mary felt listened to and supported to get her voice heard

  • Mary has now returned to Cambridgeshire and no longer feels she has to run away.
